Business manager Roma took us into the workshop. The neatly stacked raw materials and the clean workshop environment left a good impression on people, and the workshop was also a busy scene. According to Anthony, the workshop director, there are 7 orders being processed and produced at the same time this month, and the workers are working in two shifts. Steel structure processing, from rust removal, cutting, punching, pressing, welding and painting, mostly uses machines, with a high degree of automation, fewer workers in the workshop, and automatic gas shielded welding to ensure quality. Due to the good management efficiency of the factory, it takes 22 weeks, about 5 months, to process the steel structure of a 20,000 square meter Class A factory building from the initial design, production to delivery, which is relatively long. Through understanding, the factory adopts an optimized design, and the steel structure content of the factory designed by the factory is 22-24kg/square meter. The quotation for steel structure production and processing is 35,000 Mexican pesos/ton (1900USD/TON). If the owner provides steel, the processing and production cost is 18,000 Mexican pesos/ton (900USD/TON).
Compared with local steel structures in Mexico, importing steel structures from China has the following advantages:
1. First, the production cost is relatively low. Taking the price of Shandong Zhengyuanming Construction Engineering Co., Ltd. as an example, the production and processing cost per ton is about 900USD/TON. Even if the shipping cost and import tariffs are included, it still does not exceed 1500USD/TON)
2. The production cycle of China's steel structure factories is relatively fast. For general steel structure factories and warehouse projects, it takes only two months from design, production and processing to shipment.
3. Chinese companies can provide turnkey projects and steel structure installation teams. Chinese steel structure installation workers are experienced and have a short installation time, which saves a lot of installation time for the owner. This is equivalent to saving a lot of installation costs for the owner, and once again saving the total cost of the project.
